This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) forms part of our Terms of Service and should be read together with them:
This Policy applies to your use of the website https://1locol.com, the 1Locol mobile application, and any related products or services that refer or link to this Policy (collectively, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you agree to comply with this Policy, our Terms of Service, and all applicable laws and regulations.
1. WHO WE ARE
We are 1Locol Technologies LTD (“1Locol”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered in Ireland.

2. GENERAL ACCEPTABLE USE
You must use the Services lawfully, responsibly, and only for purposes consistent with the functionality we make available.
You must not:
- use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or unauthorised purpose;
- impersonate another person or use another person’s account without authorisation;
- provide materially false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
- attempt to obtain passwords, authentication credentials, financial information, or other sensitive information belonging to another person;
- harass, threaten, abuse, or unlawfully harm another person;
- misuse customer-support or complaint channels;
- interfere with, disrupt, damage, or impose an unreasonable burden on the Services or systems connected to them;
- upload, transmit, distribute, or introduce malware, viruses, malicious code, or other harmful material;
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent security controls, access restrictions, technical safeguards, usage limits, or other protective measures;
- access restricted portions of the Services without authorisation; or
- use the Services in a manner that violates applicable law or the rights of another person.
3. ACCOUNT AND IDENTITY MISUSE
You must not:
- create an account using a false, stolen, or misleading identity;
- create multiple accounts for the purpose of circumventing limits, restrictions, promotions, verification requirements, or enforcement measures;
- buy, sell, rent, lend, transfer, or otherwise make an account available to another person without our express permission;
- engage in account farming or operate accounts primarily for abusive, fraudulent, or prohibited activity;
- interfere with or attempt to bypass identity-verification, authentication, fraud-prevention, or other security processes;
- use another person’s identity documents, verification information, phone number, payment instrument, or account without proper authorisation; or
- attempt to manipulate or falsify identity-verification or compliance information.
4. PAYMENT AND PURCHASE ABUSE
You must not use the Services to engage in or facilitate:
- payment fraud or abuse;
- use of stolen or unauthorised payment instruments;
- fraudulent refunds or chargebacks;
- account takeover;
- evasion of payment-provider, fraud-prevention, security, or risk controls; or
- any other unlawful activity involving a purchase or payment.
We may restrict, delay, reject, or review an order or payment where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, security, legal, or compliance purposes.
5. eSIM AND CONNECTIVITY SERVICES
When using an eSIM or connectivity service made available through 1Locol, you must use that service lawfully and in accordance with applicable technical and network requirements.
You must not:
- engage in SIM farming, artificial traffic generation, traffic pumping, or similar abusive activity;
- use automated systems or large-scale device arrangements to generate artificial or abusive network traffic;
- send spam, unsolicited bulk communications, malicious traffic, or abusive communications;
- use connectivity services to distribute malware or conduct unlawful network activity;
- interfere with, disrupt, attack, damage, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to telecommunications networks or systems;
- bypass or attempt to bypass network restrictions, fair-use controls, geographic restrictions, usage limits, security controls, or other technical measures;
- manipulate, clone, alter, or misuse eSIM identifiers or provisioning information;
- resell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit an eSIM or connectivity service unless expressly authorised by 1Locol;
- use an eSIM in a manner prohibited by the applicable mobile network operator, roaming partner, or connectivity provider; or
- use the service in a way that materially impairs network availability, security, integrity, or the experience of other users.
Underlying telecommunications providers may impose additional reasonable technical, network-management, eligibility, or usage restrictions.
6. AUTOMATED ACCESS, SCRAPING AND TECHNICAL ABUSE
Except where expressly permitted by us or by applicable law, you must not:
- systematically retrieve, scrape, harvest, copy, or extract data or Content from the Services;
- use spiders, robots, crawlers, scrapers, offline readers, or similar automated tools to access the Services;
- use automated scripts to create accounts, submit requests, initiate transactions, or interact with the Services;
- attempt to bypass rate limits or anti-automation controls;
- interfere with APIs, authentication systems, network controls, or security mechanisms;
- probe, scan, test, or attempt to identify vulnerabilities without our prior written authorisation;
- copy, adapt, or modify our software except as permitted by applicable law;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law; or
- use our systems, Content, interfaces, or data to create a competing service in a manner that infringes our intellectual-property rights or breaches these Terms.
Normal use of a standard web browser or authorised search-engine indexing is not prohibited by this section.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONTENT
You must not:
- remove, obscure, or alter copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices;
- reproduce, distribute, sell, license, or commercially exploit 1Locol Content without authorisation;
- use 1Locol trademarks, branding, or other intellectual property in a misleading or unauthorised manner;
- upload or provide content that infringes another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, or other legal rights; or
- falsely represent an affiliation, endorsement, or partnership with 1Locol.
8. UNAUTHORISED RESALE AND COMMERCIAL EXPLOITATION
Unless expressly authorised by 1Locol, you must not:
- resell or redistribute eSIMs or connectivity services;
- resell access to 1Locol accounts or Services;
- act as an unauthorised intermediary for the purpose of circumventing eligibility, pricing, transaction, or compliance controls;
- operate the Services as part of an unauthorised commercial resale business; or
- exploit promotions, discounts, referral programmes, or service limits in an abusive or artificial manner.
This section does not prohibit ordinary personal or legitimate business use expressly supported by the Services.
9. THIRD-PARTY PROVIDER REQUIREMENTS
Certain Services rely on independent third-party providers, including:
- payment service providers;
- identity-verification providers;
- telecommunications and eSIM providers;
- mobile network operators;
- roaming partners; and
- other regulated or specialised service providers.
You must comply with any applicable third-party requirements communicated to you in connection with the Service.
A third-party provider may restrict or refuse a service where required by its own legal, regulatory, security, compliance, technical, or eligibility requirements.
10. SECURITY AND FRAUD PREVENTION
You must not attempt to:
- compromise another user’s account;
- defeat authentication or account-security controls;
- interfere with fraud-detection or risk-management systems;
- hide, falsify, manipulate, or obscure technical information for the purpose of avoiding security or compliance controls;
- exploit software vulnerabilities;
- conduct denial-of-service or similar attacks; or
- use the Services to facilitate cybercrime or unauthorised access to systems.
If you discover a suspected security vulnerability, you should report it to us rather than exploit it.
11. ENFORCEMENT
Where we reasonably believe that you have breached this Policy, our Terms of Service, applicable law, or an applicable provider requirement, we may take proportionate action depending on the nature and severity of the issue.
This may include:
- issuing a warning;
- requesting additional information or verification;
- restricting a transaction;
- delaying or rejecting an order or payment;
- restricting an eSIM or connectivity service;
- temporarily suspending access to all or part of the Services;
- terminating an account or Service;
- preserving relevant information for investigation;
- referring activity to an applicable regulated or service provider; or
- reporting suspected unlawful activity to competent authorities where required or permitted by law.
Where reasonably practicable and required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate notice or an opportunity to remedy a breach.
Nothing in this Policy limits any statutory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect:
- changes to the Services;
- new products or service providers;
- security or fraud risks;
- legal or regulatory changes; or
- operational requirements.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide reasonable notice of material changes.
A change to this Policy will not retroactively make conduct a breach where that conduct was permitted when it occurred. Any applicable notice and termination rights relating to a material change are governed by our Terms of Service and applicable law.
